About Healing Flower

In 2008, my daughter was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia. During her battle against her illness, her condition developed into childhood cancer--Leukemia--resulting in her admittance into the hospital to undergo a bone marrow transplant. Due to the immense amounts of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, her skin had become flakey, with dry patches in need of stronger nourishment and moisturizing. When medical creams and store-bought eczema lotions did not work, I began my own research to create lotions and soaps that contained natural ingredients to bring more moisture and healthy nutrients back into my daughter's skin. At first, I started by making small batches of soap and body butter to help relieve the dry skin, itching, and cracking that was occurring along her dry skin patches. After seeing the improvements along her skin, I decided to make more and share my products with the friends and family. Thus, Healing Flower was born. 

Today, while our products are still made in small batches, our product line has expanded to a full system of cleansing, exfoliation, and moisturizing!
